Misao Kajiro - Breaking Boundaries in Japan

     Misao Kajiro was born in a 200 year old house in Kurashiki, Japan. She grew up in a very traditional environment; women in her family have never worked outside the home, she is the first to do so. Her marriage was also the first "love match" in her family. In that environment, to be a womanarchitect is highly unusual. She launched her own architectural design company, Logica Desgin Inc., in 1994.
